The Hake on our fresh fish counters has been iced on the fishing vessel quickly after capture and stored in a chilled hold. Refrigerated transport is used to bring the fish to Oceanpath in Howth, Co. Dublin where the fish is processed in a modern BRC accredited factory.
Refrigerated trucks deliver the fillets to SuperValu stores who keep the fish chilled until you purchase it ensuring the freshness is maintained every step along the way.
Oceanpath was founded by the Ecock family in 1991 and is located on West Pier, Howth, Co. Dublin. We supply fish to all major Irish retailers and food service as well as exporting to places like USA and throughout Europe. In 2006, Oceanpath acquired Dunn’s of Dublin which in addition to our fresh fish, enabled us to further diversify our products to customers with the highlights being our delicious traditional smoked hake and smoked mackerel amongst others.
Dunn’s of Finglas, Dublin is Ireland’s Oldest Fish Company, dating back to 1822. They are quality producers of the finest quality Smoked Irish Salmon, Organic Salmon, Prawn Cocktail, Smoked Mackerel and other delicious seafood products.
